XYLAC is a coloured decorative and protective wood varnish for interior and exterior use. It is suitable for doors, windows, frames, claddings, and in general for any wooden surface. It has excellent working and levelling properties. It makes an elastic and tough finish that protects and offers to the wood beautiful appearance.
Application Instructions
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and resin and be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper. Old varnishes and paints in poor condition are completely removed with paint remover. On new or bare wood for best protection from fungi and woodworm insects, pretreat with one coat of ALCON’s colourless wood preservative WOOD DECOR and then apply 1 or 2 coats of XYLAC depending on the desired shade. For maintenance of previously varnished surfaces apply one coat of XYLAC. Tools sholud be cleaned with White Spirit.

| VOC | EU limit value for Xylac Aqua in category A/e: 150gr/l (2007) and 130 gr/l (2010). The ready to use product contains max 125gr/l VOC. |
